FM01: Work Priorities
This Module is about Personal Management and Professional Development. It is about time management, managing your own performance and taking responsibility for your own professional development.


FM02: Operational Plans
This Module is about Business Planning and the active work of managers to plan, implement, monitor and record performance to achieve business plans of the team and the organisation. This pivotal role is carried out to create safe, efficient and effective services and products to customer satisfaction within your organisation’s productivity and profitability plans.


FM03: Workplace Relationships
This Module is about effective communication and the important role of managers to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external people. Good relationships help ensure that customers, suppliers and the organisation achieve planned outcomes.


FM04: Team Effectiveness
This Module is about team effectiveness and the vital role of a manager to effectively plan team performance, develop and facilitate team cohesion, facilitate team work and liaise with stakeholders.


FM05: Customer Service
This Module is about Customer Service for external and/or internal customers and the role of managers to ensure that products and services are delivered and maintained to standards agreed by the organisation and the customer. The unit includes how to identify customer needs, plan for customer service and deliver quality customer service.


FM06: Information Systems
This Module is about effective management of Workplace Information. The capability of a manager to identify, acquire and use appropriate information plays a significant part in the efficiency and effectiveness of the individuals / teams / organisation performance.


FM07: Work Safety
This Module is about Occupational Health and Safety and the role of all managers to ensure the workplace meets safety requirements set down in legislation, standards and the organisation policies and practices.


FM08: Continuous improvement
This Module is about Continuous Improvement and the active role of managers to manage continuous improvement processes in achieving the organisations quality objectives.


FM09: Manage Change and Innovation

This Module is about fostering change and acting as a catalyst in the implementation of change and innovation. You have a creative role in ensuring that individuals, the team and the organisation gain from change, and that the customer benefits through improved products and services.


FM10: Manage Projects
This Module is about managing projects in teams or across teams. This very practical course enables participants to understand the fundamentals of project management and to identify the key actions they must take at each stage of a project to manage it in the most effective way.


FM11: Manage People
This Module is about managing and leading team members in the organisation. This includes managing performance (including mentoring and coaching), addressing performance related issues, addressing issues and problems of team members, building team support and commitment, reviewing and evaluating management of individuals in the work team.


FM12: Workplace Learning
This Module is about a manager’s role to encourage and support the development of a learning organisation. Promoting a learning environment in which work and learning are integrated is an important goal to be achieved.


FM13: Manage Budgets
This Module is about managing budgets for teams.
