It can sometimes be difficult for employers to recognise outstanding work completed by their employees and equally as difficult for employees to demonstrate their high level of achievement.

In response to feedback from students and employers, fmi has reviewed our assessment grades are pleased to introduce a revised grading system which includes a new grade level for students who submit work to an outstanding level which really is a cut above the rest. The new “High Distinction” grade will be awarded. We now offer four grades: Competent; Credit; Distinction; High Distinction.

fmi Courses Focus

Finance for Non-Financial Managers
We are launching this program as part of fmi’s Sydney and Melbourne Public Courses. This course develops the skills required for financial management within a work team in an organisation. This includes planning and implementing financial management approaches, supporting team members whose role involves aspects of financial operations, monitoring and controlling finances, and reviewing and evaluating effectiveness of financial management processes in line with the financial objectives of the work team and the organisation.

Maintain a Calm, Focused and Organised Approach to Work- Effective Stress Management
In times of rapid change there is a need to maintain a calm, focused and organised approach to work. This helps reduce stress in a performance driven work environment. Stress can affect people’s health and wellbeing and can also make their work less effective.   The effective management of work and attitudes to control stress is a useful and sometimes essential part of the “toolkit” of managers and team members. This unique program is based upon fundamental strategies to maintain a calm, focused and organised approach to work and so manage stress effectively.
